The second rescue for today was more positive than the first two We went to the 3rd sighting and just as the sun set the wombat was found. He was lying in the tall grass resting but we managed to get a good dose on him What made my heart sing is how this community (in Jerrabomberra) came together and all care so much and just want him to heal He gave a few growls just to let us know he’s not impressed and he is sporting the usual blue mark on his back but Im confident we got him in time Thank yo

We received Sue's culture results back today from the goop in her lungs. They were positive for a significant amount of bacteria and fungus albeit different to the last results. We are confused as Sue is back to being bright as a button, is gaining weight daily, burrowing and is eating like a little piggy. She just came zooming to me through the paddock. Our vets want to hold off treatment until her CT next week as she is still showing no signs of respiratory distress. Wombats are incredibly con
