I talked my way on to the set of Smokey and the Bandit in 1976 and spent the the day talking with Jackie Gleason. What a blast. Ten years later both Hal Needham and Burt Reynolds were friends of mine. We made this movie to celebrat and remember those two very talented men. It's a tribute to the greatest car chase/trucker/sill sheriff movie of all time and this time none other than Tyrus is playing the sheriff!
