We rescued Liz cow and her son Cashew in 2016 after the small dairy that they came from shut down. Little did we know, that rescue would not only change their lives, but the life of another very special calf named Jerome as well. Baby cows are just so sweet! ☀️ Dairy cows are female and create milk because they are mothers! With a nine month gestation, each of our beautiful dairy cows will continue to have babies during their long life at Creamline Farms! ☀️ After a few days with their babies after birth, we transfer the baby cows into their pens where we will bottle feed them for a few months until they are ready to switch to hay and pasture! Bottle feeding ensures that both the mother dairy cow and baby cow get the nut
