Today, we lit up 75 acres on Mormon Island as part of our ongoing prairie restoration work. This site is about four years into its restoration journey, and with the burn complete, we’re expecting a flush of warm-season grasses to follow. We also carried out a small prescribed burn for a neighbor who’s working to reinvigorate the prairie on his own land.
