Church of England bishops have commended prayers for blessings of same-sex couples to be used in churches. The bishops claim that this is in line with existing church teaching, which they say is not changing; there will be no same-sex 'marriages' in Church of England churches. This week the bishops in Parliament have been using their voice to urge politicians to act to protect God's Creation. The Bishop of Norwich, Graham Usher, the Church of England's Lead Bishop for the Environment, welcomed Archbishop Marinez Bassotto - the Anglican Primate of Brazil and Bishop of the Amazon - to Parliament to meet MPs.
