Dec 15, 2022 · The Good News: Clark County, WA, recently updated the Sheriff's web page to enable on-line Concealed Pistol License (CPL) applications. By "recently", I mean within the past few days. Residents of unincorporated areas of Clark County may now apply on-line for an Original CPL as well as for Renewal or Replacement of an existing CPL.

They then tell me that Clark County Sheriff's background check system is down and has been down since April and I may have to wait 4 more weeks for my gun.

Mar 6, 2014 · Sportsman's would not. After 30 days of waiting, my NICS check was cancelled at Sportsman and we did the check without CPL, which solely goes through CCSD. That was last Saturday. Sportsman called me Monday and said proceed was received from Clark County Sheriff's Department and I could come pick up my gun.

You can operate an ATV in several of the small towns and surrounding roads, (Tonasket is working on that one, by the time you get here, you may be able to operate an ORV in Tonasket too) and the county is working on opening up another 69 miles of county road to ORV.

May 28, 2018 · Generally, most counties will only issue to residents of the contiguous county across the river. Clark = Multnomah. Skamania = Hood River. Columbia was awesome and proactive but that was backed way off about 3 years ago, its improved some since then. The MCSO FAQ page actually says "Multnomah County issues to Washington residents".
