Pittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Will Howard is expected to miss at least three weeks while recovering from a hand injury, NFL Network reports. Howard reportedly fractured a "small bone" in his hand during Pittsburgh's training camp practice session Tuesday.

Howard's injury will keep him out until at least Aug. 27, meaning he would miss all three of Pittsburgh's preseason games against the Jacksonville Jaguars (Aug. 9), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Aug. 16), and Carolina Panthers (Aug. 21).

Steelers quarterback Will Howard has been one of the most talked-about topics this offseason for the team. Fans were itching to get their first glimpse of him in game action on Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
