U.S. President Donald Trump's letter to Iran's clerical establishment will be delivered by Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the president of the United Arab Emirates, Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.

China said it would host nuclear talks with Iran and Russia, days after US President Donald Trump urged Tehran to negotiate a new deal over its atomic work or face military action.

President Trump's letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will be delivered on Wednesday by a senior adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a statement.

U.S. President Donald Trump's letter to Iran's clerical establishment "will soon be delivered to Tehran by an Arab country," Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said in televised remarks on Wednesday.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that Tehran would not be bullied into negotiations, a day after Trump said he had sent a letter urging Iran to engage in talks on a new nuclear deal. Asked if Moscow had consulted with Tehran before or after Trump's letter, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters:

President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran would not negotiate with the U.S. while being threatened, telling President Donald Trump to "do whatever the hell you want", Iranian state media reported on Tuesday.

The Iranian president's remarks come just days after Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Tehran will not be bullied (by the US) into negotiations.
