The San Diego Padres have reportedly pursued a blockbuster deal for Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran for weeks now, and they remain on the gas.

Jarren Duran’s first three months were a disappointment, as he hit just .253 with a .723 OPS. In July, though, he outperformed a breakout 2024 season.
