The Philadelphia Eagles moved up the start of Tuesday's practice due to extreme heat — and a new Jalen-ism dropped.

As temperatures reached into the 90s at Eagles training camp on Tuesday, Philadelphia decided to move practice an hour earlier in the day. However, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio made it clear that they would not let the heat deter them.

Roster spots are earned and not stolen, but through one week of training camp at the NovaCare Complex, it's the big, physical receiver, Elijah Cook, making a name for himself ahead of players with bigger expectations. The Eagles signed Cooks to a reserve/future contract following the Super Bowl.
