A Bonney Lake mother charged in her son’s fentanyl death appeared in court Wednesday after being arrested last week.

Karlee Annmarie Eley, 26, was arraigned at Pierce County Superior Court on June 18, 2025, and charged with first-degree manslaughter after her son, Weston Tucker, died from acute fentanyl toxicity.

Weston Tucker was found unresponsive on a bed near drugs that tested positive for fentanyl, according to court documents. He died a few days later.
