FAYETTEVILLE —Class of 2026 punter Connor Smith has committed to Arkansas after visiting Fayetteville earlier in the week. Smith, 6-3 and 180 pounds, of Clintwood, Va., chose the Razorbacks over Alabama, Missouri, Liberty, James Madison and others.

By qualifying for the CWS this season, Arkansas ties Clemson and North Carolina with 12 appearances and no championships (to date). The Razorbacks are making their eighth appearance in the CWS since 2008.

An Aurora woman is now facing charges of first-degree murder and more in Arkansas after being sentenced to life in prison for murdering her estranged husband in Missouri earlier this week. According to Arkansas court dockets,
