A fire broke out at an abandoned building at Liberty Station on Wednesday night, officials said. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 2750 Cushing Road just after 8:30 p.m. and called a second-alarm response nearly 15 minutes later, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

Units were dispatched at 6:30 a.m. Sunday to 610 68th St. near the intersection of Akins Ave., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
