Trey Hendrickson's contract dilemma with the Bengals seems to have taken a positive turn, with both sides reportedly resuming discussions.

The Cincinnati Bengals and All-Pro pass rusher Trey Hendrickson resumed talks on a long-term contract extension after spending much of the offseason in a standoff with one another, according to a report by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is currently the league's highest-paid pass-rusher after agreeing in March to a four-year extension that pays him an average annual salary of $40 million. Hendrickson's teammate Ja'Marr Chase is the NFL's highest-paid non-quarterback with a new contract that will pay him $40.25 million per season.
