A Wisconsin man is detained in Lake County jail after allegedly shooting two victims at a Waukegan funeral home Friday night.

Occupants were displaced from a residence after a furnace fire caused extensive smoke damage to a home in Linconshire Saturday.

One person received unknown injuries after his car slid off the roadway on Route 12 and slammed into a utility pole near Fox Lake early Sunday.

No injuries were reported after a marked Cary Police squad car was involved in an accident on Route 14, authorities said.
