Leaked Nvidia DLSS 4 Details Suggest RTX 50-Series GPUs Will Have ‘Neural Rendering’
Nvidia may reveal a DLSS 4 update to its AI upscaling suite that will help you run AI tasks and get better frames in games.
Nvidia partners leak next-gen RTX 50-series GPUs, including a 32GB 5090
Rumors have suggested that Nvidia will be taking the wraps off of some next-generation RTX 50-series graphics cards at CES in January. And as we get closer to that date, Nvidia's partners and some of the PC makers have begun to inadvertently leak details of the cards.
Nvidia's RTX 5090 Might Feature 32GB of Memory, Only 16GB for RTX 5080
Acer may have accidentally spilled some key details about Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 5000 graphics cards, which are expected to be unveiled at CES next month. VideoCardz spotted an Acer website referencing the RTX 5090 and the RTX 5080 for its Predator Orion 7000 desktop systems.
Massive leak just revealed Nvidia RTX 5090, 5080 and 5070 GPUs ahead of CES 2025 — here's the specs
Going back to Zotac’s leak, using RTX 5090 as an example, there is 32GB of GDDR7 memory on board — a third more than the previous king of the mountain in the RTX 4090. This is the part that gets me a little nervous, as that nullifies the 20% decrease in power demands with more storage.
RTX 5090 will seemingly come armed with 32GB VRAM, and I'd be surprised if 8K gaming isn't a thing this generation
That said, if the card does rock 32GB memory, it could be a sign that the RTX 5090 will properly target 8K gaming performance. While current gen cards can sort of pull off beyond UHD, pairing a top-end Blackwell GPU with that much VRAM could bring us closer to 60fps gameplay.
Nvidia’s RTX 5080 may be better than the RTX 5090 in one small way
A new report claims that Nvidia's RTX 5080 may have one leg up over the RTX 5090 -- but there's a lot of conflicting information, too.
