CLEVELAND (AP) — LeBron James doesn't know if Wednesday night will end up being his last trip to Cleveland as a player. If James doesn't return, the Cavaliers and their fans continued to let James know how much he means to them.
LeBron James traveled to Cleveland earlier this week to face the Cavaliers in what may very well have been his final game in front of the fans who cheered him on when he first entered the league.
In a clip from the Lakers vs. Cavaliers game, Bronny made an excellent fadeaway dunk that excited LeBron James and the Cavaliers' crowd.
LeBron's relationship with the city of Cleveland is unlike anything else in professional sports. It has included unwavering support, public resentment, jersey burnings, redemption and ultimately, the delivery of the franchise's only NBA championship in 2016.
Jaylon Tyson said Cleveland is “Donovan Mitchell city” after the Cavaliers beat LeBron James and the Lakers in what was perhaps James’s final game at Rocket Arena.
