Kristen Moriarty, who previously won a disputed $83.5 million lottery jackpot will now receive her full prize after the Texas Lottery Commission settled her lawsuit, granting her nearly $46 million.

Kristen Moriarty was the only person to hit the $83.5M jackpot in February, but she had the bad timing to win as lawmakers became furious with the state lottery commission.

In 2023, a group bagged the $95 million jackpot after buying almost all of the available tickets using a lotto courier site.

Her name is Kristen Moriarty, a mom of two who describes herself as not a very exciting person. “I’m really boring,” Moriarty said from the witness stand.
