Charlotte, N.C. ― The Syracuse Orange finally found a way to hold onto a lead and keep a victory from slipping away. Not that Syracuse didn’t try to give it away. Syracuse frittered away nearly all of a 16-point second-half lead but held on for a 66-62 victory over Florida State in the first round of the ACC tournament here at the Spectrum Center on Tuesday.
