In a long social media post, President Trump praised Attorney General Pam Bondi and told his followers to “not waste Time and Energy” on the Jeffrey Epstein case.

This week, Bondi confirmed that, despite her prior vow to release the Epstein files, she stands behind the conclusions in the FBI’s memo, which “speaks for itself.” The attorney general’s turnabout evoked rage from many of Donald Trump’s most ardent supporters — several of whom have called for Bondi’s resignation or firing.

Trump ally Kash Patel, appointed FBI director during Trump’s second tenure, and former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, both previously questioned the official suicide ruling. By May this year, however, both said they accepted the government’s conclusion about Epstein’s death.
