Aaron Rodgers is one of the top free agents left on the NFL free agency market. He is also one of the most intriguing players on the market. At 41 years old, Rodgers is a clear-cut first ballot Hall of Fame. He has a few different potential landing spots, although two are perceived to be the front-runners for his services.

Pittsburgh has no viable alternative to Rodgers, unless the Falcons change their minds about not trading Kirk Cousins. Russell Wilson, despite the great things he has done in his career, likely isn’t the answer to this question: “How do we finally win another playoff game?”

The addition of Gainwell does very little to change the Steelers need to replace Harris. Gainwell is a nice player and adds some value in the return game, which might make him a more likely replacement for Cordarrelle Patterson if he's released to save salary cap.
