A strong winter storm is bringing widespread rain, mountain snow, and gusty winds to the Las Vegas Valley Thursday morning.

The Las Vegas valley is expecting rain and even snow at higher elevations on Thursday, with a severe winter storm warning in effect until Friday afternoon for the Spring Mountains.

After more than 200 days without rain, we will break the dry streak Thursday. Rain will be moving in early Thursday morning.
