It's unclear whether White will enter the race to replace himself, as federal charges did not prevent White from seeking office in the most recent general election.

The election is set for July 15, with early voting from July 11 to July 14, according to a spokesperson for D.C.’s Board of Elections.

The D.C. Board of Elections (BOE) will be hosting a Special Election this summer for Ward 8 Councilmember, following Trayon White’s expulsion from the D.C.

Timothy Hazelo, 57, of Oak Harbor, was already facing a disorderly conduct misdemeanor for the Nov. 4 mask dispute at the Island County Elections office.
