McIntyre and Priest have been on a collision course since the 2025 Royal Rumble, where Priest eliminated McIntyre from the match. Their feud has only grown since Elimination Chamber, where Priest once again eliminated McIntyre. On this week's Friday Night SmackDown, the pair exchanged attacks.

Tonight on SmackDown, Drew was entering the arena when he spotted the Archer of Infamy backstage. The Scottish Warrior took this chance to assault Priest.
