Jonathan Quick finished with 34 saves to post his third shutout of the season for the Rangers and the 63rd of his career.

Artemi Panarin, J.T. Miller, K’Andre Miller and Brett Berard scored and Jonathan Quick made 35 saves as the New York Rangers defeated the Nashville Predators 4-0 on Sunday night.

In that contest, the 39-year-old Quick became just the 17th netminder in the history of the NHL to appear in at least 800 contests. He also became only the second U.S.-born goalie to achieve that feat, with John Vanbiesbrouck being the first one to do it, according to the league's communications department.

Behind a two-point night from Miller and a strong showing from his line, the Rangers trounced the Predators, 4-0, Sunday night at Madison Square Garden to pull within two points of the second wild card as part of a three-way tie with the Bruins and Senators.
