However, linebacker Von Miller had a lot to play for in Week 18. Going into the finale, the former Denver Broncos star had recorded five sacks on the season. With just one sack against New England, he was able to cash in on a $1.5 million contract incentive bonus.

Miller's reworked contract has sack benchmarks, with bonuses for different increments, according to Spotrac, up to $9.645 million for 15 sacks. Miller entered Week 18 with five sacks on the season, one shy of reaching six for an extra $1.5 million.

The Bills host the Broncos on Wild Card Weekend and Von Miller is the key to victory, not quarterback Josh Allen.

The Buffalo Bills linebacker made an extra $1.5 million Sunday afternoon when he notched his sxith sack of the season against New England quarterback Joe Milton. Miller served a four-game suspension during the season and currently has 16 tackles, six tackles for loss and five sacks in 12 games with less game action this year.
