Around 20 percent of those who survive a ruptured brain aneurysm are left with a long-term disability, a specialist told Newsweek.

A team of researchers used functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to compare brain activity patterns in adults with ASD and TD adults as they viewed images of body parts.

In doing so, they demonstrate that stimulation of the right bits of the brain can produce dramatic—and seemingly permanent—improvements in the ability of patients to walk again.
