Switzerland is used to being alone. It’s not a member of NATO or the European Union; it eschews the euro in favor of its own currency, the Swiss franc, which has lately gained value against the euro and the dollar.

Switzerland’s economy will prove resilient enough to largely shake off the shock of US tariffs over the next year or so, according to a Bloomberg survey of economists.

The White House previously said they would issue an executive order clarifying tariff levels on the precious metal this week.
