By Trevor Hunnicutt and Ryan Patrick Jones WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Three of U.S. President Donald Trump's top aides will meet with their Chinese counterparts in London on Monday for talks aimed at resolving a trade dispute between the world's two largest economies that has kept global markets on edge.

U.S.-China trade talks in London this week are expected to take up a series of fresh disputes that have buffeted relations, threatening a fragile truce over tariffs.

Officials hashed out an agreement last month for the U.S. to lower its tariff rate on imports from China from 145 percent to 30 percent.

US President Donald Trump said Chinese leader Xi Jinping has agreed to restart the flow of crucial rare earth materials, after announcing a new round of US-China trade talks will be held in London on Monday.
