Combs has said that all of the sex was consensual and that while his relationships sometimes involved domestic violence, he wasn't engaged in trafficking.

Federal prosecutors have accused Combs on five charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and engaging in prostitution.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson accused Mr Combs of using his celebrity status and a "loyal" inner circle of employees to sexually abuse women and run a criminal enterprise.
