After the shooting near Oxford High School, the suspect was quickly arrested. Sheriff Michael Bouchard called it "The worst nightmare on so many levels." The suspect, who used an illegal gun with an extended magazine and fired over thirty rounds, is expected to face "every possible charge," as stated by FOX 2 Detroit .

A 29-year-old man is facing 19 charges, including felony murder, in connection with the fatal shooting in Oxford on Christmas Eve. ​

The suspect, 29, was recently released from prison years before his maximum sentence was over despite another weapons conviction while behind bars.

Malik Webb, who has a history of gun-related convictions and was released from prison in July, was charged in connection with the Dec. 24 shooting death of Dr. Barbara Wolf, 71, of Oxford Township, and the nonfatal shootings of two others.
