MAGA-friendly TV channel Newsmax is throwing shade at Fox News for tiptoeing around the controversy surrounding President Donald Trump’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. Anchor Rob Schmitt suggested that Fox News hosts are “terrified” to cover MAGA’s uproar over the Trump administration’s decision not to release any more information on the late convicted sex offender.

Trump lashed out at his MAGA base on Wednesday over their meltdown to the Justice Department’s memo that concluded that Epstein had no “client list” of high-profile public figures involved in the scandal. He said in his Truth Social post that he no longer wanted the support of those who cared about the case.

Joy Reid criticized MAGA voters as cult-like followers who prioritize Trump over their wellbeing, stating they would sacrifice their families while claiming JD Vance lacks charisma.

Some of the most influential voices in right-wing media are rejecting Trump’s call to stop wasting “time and energy on Jeffrey Epstein.”

The president is hoping to move on from the Jeffrey Epstein story, but Right-wing Republicans like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., said she was interested in a private viewing of the Epstein files at the Justice Department and wants all of them eventually released to the public.
