Tight ends coach Ryan Wallace leaving the Cardinals for a similar position at Oregon State, according to The Oregonian's Ryan Clarke. Wallace will not only take over as the Beavers' tight end coach, but take on the co-offensive coordinator role.

No. 22 Louisville shut out 12th-ranked North Carolina in overtime, winning 76-66 on Sunday in the Tar Heels' ACC opener.

KEY FIRST HALF RUN: Louisville used an 11-0 run to take a 16-7 lead with 13:37 on the clock. The Cardinals furthered the distance between 5:38 and 4:28 with back-to-back-to-back 3-pointers in that minute and 10 seconds, taking a 44-26 lead. UofL led 57-37 at the break.

Laura Ziegler led Louisville with 17 points and added eight rebounds, one of four Cardinals in double figures. In six days, Louisville has to face another top-20 team in No. 17 Tennessee in the Women's Champions Classic.

The Dec. 13 game didn’t live up to the past glory that goes back to long before today’s Tigers and Cardinals were born. The two teams have met 91 times in a series that started in 1949.
