A cause of death for writer and director Jeff Baena, whose credits include “Life After Beth” and “The Little Hours,” has been determined.

Jeff Baena, the acclaimed filmmaker behind movies such as "Life After Beth" and "The Little Hours," has tragically passed away.

Aubrey Plaza and Jeff Baena were together for over 13 years and teamed up on multiple projects throughout the 2010s and 2020s before Baena died at age 47 in on Jan. 3.
