Los Angeles Deputy Mayor Brian Williams was placed on leave after he allegedly made a bomb threat on City Hall in September, and his home has since been raided by the FBI.

Officials said FBI agents searched the home of LA Deputy Mayor of Public Safety as part of an investigation over a bomb threat against City Hall.

Recent drone sightings have prompted a collective sense of panic from some residents, despite assurances from U.S. intelligence agencies and the Defense Department.

Since Dec. 7, officials at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Burlington County reported 15 laser strikes at military planes and helicopters. On Monday, a pilot was injured by a laser and needed medical care after landing. Officials at the base said the pilot is in good condition but wouldn't elaborate on the injury.
