Hawaii couldn’t pass its first test at the Little League Majors (ages 9-12) World Series on Friday at Williamsport, Pa. Hawaii’s inability to come up with clutch hits and a rough fifth inning contributed to a 5-1 loss to Connecticut. The West Regional champion stranded eight runners and also had two runners thrown out at the plate.
