The U.S. Postal Service is temporarily increasing prices on “some package services for the holiday shipping season.”
Post offices will be closed nationwide on Monday to mark Columbus Day, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced. Only Priority Mail Express items will be delivered on the federal holiday, while regular mail deliveries will resume on Tuesday, October 14. Newsweek contacted the USPS via email for comment outside of regular working hours.
