Akron police are investigating the fatal shooting of Lenard Owens, a 29-year-old man shot Sunday on the city's East Side.

The footage shows an officer firing shots at an armed man in Russell and another officer shooting during a Bardstown Road altercation.

"Dillon [Siebeck], who was twice this suspect’s age, did not resemble this suspect," said lawyers who are suing the City of Glendale and two people who were involved in the shooting that lead to Siebeck's death in 2025.
