'They don't deserve to be put on a slaughter truck,' horse rescuers say
COSHOCTON − Two women attended an auction with the intention of buying a horse that was suffering from heart failure. They wanted to give him the opportunity to live out his remaining days in peace.
For 28 years, Omega Horse Rescue has given thousands of unwanted and neglected horses in the region a second chance, rescuing them from slaughterhouses and unsafe situations, one miracle at a time.
