The victim of a fatal car crash on Saturday night in Neenah was identified as 22-year-old Justin Hartjes. According to the Neenah Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of South Park Avenue around 10:30 p.

Investigators say that the main apparently lost control of his car while crossing lanes, eventually slamming into the sound wall and flipping his vehicle.

The man was taken to ThedaCare Hospital in Neenah, where he was pronounced dead.

First responders rescued a child from a smoke-filled apartment over the weekend, after the person who lived in that residence died in a fiery vehicle crash. Neenah police officers said a man crashed his vehicle into a tree at the intersection of Park and Bayview in Neenah on Saturday night.
