ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10) — The New York Lottery announced the winners of the October 26 Million Dollar Raffle drawing. 5,505 winning tickets were sold across the state, including in and around the Capital Region, with prizes ranging from $200 to $1 million.
A Carmel resident has joined the ranks of New York Lottery winners, claiming a $1 million prize on the VIP Millions scratch-off game, lottery officials announced. Devone Cerreiro opted to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $651,010, after required withholdings.

Queensbury man wins $1,000 a week for life in lottery
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. ( NEWS10) — A Queensbury man won $1,000 a week for life by matching five CASH4LIFE numbers drawn on July 21. The New York Lottery said the prize guarantees a minimum payout of $1,000,000.
Syracuse, N.Y. - Larry Hartig had given up on the New York State Lottery. “I’m not lucky,” he thought. But on July 23, Hartig was driving past Polge Wine & Liquors at 434 W. Seneca Turnpike in Syracuse he was hit by a whim. He stopped and bought five Lotto tickets.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse resident has won the $17 million New York LOTTO jackpot. Larry Hartig claimed the prize after matching the first six numbers drawn on July 23. The winning numbers were 06, 08, 22, 29, 37, and 50, with a bonus number of 11.
The jackpot has now climbed to a staggering $358 million for Monday's drawing after Saturday's numbers went unclaimed.
