A fire broke out in the parking garage of a Las Vegas Strip hotel in the early morning hours of the Fourth of July.

Clark County Public Information Officer Mike Cooper said Monday that Sheltered Inc. was reimbursed about $495,000 from the beginning of the contract until its termination.

The Clark County Department of Job and Family Services requested the commission terminate its contract with Sheltered Inc., which the commission approved on Feb. 22.
