HOUSTON – The United States’ star-studded roster opens up Group B pool play against Brazil in the World Baseball Classic today – Friday, March 6 – at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas.

The sixth World Baseball Classic is officially underway, with Australia defeating Chinese Taipei 3-0 in the opening game, and Team USA has its eyes on winning it all for the second time.

As play begins, 13 Yankees are scattered about WBC rosters, the largest pinstriped collection since the tournament began in 2006.
