Police issued a dispersal order amid anti-ICE protests in Downtown Los Angeles Sunday, Jan. 25, a day after immigration officers shot and killed an ICU nurse in Minneapolis, the second person ICE officers fatally shot in the city this year.

Thousands of people marched through the streets of downtown Los Angeles to denounce ICE after federal agents were involved in two shootings this week.

A group of riders on off-road motorcycles and ATVs made their way through downtown Los Angeles during a late-night street takeover.

Demonstrators opposed to the Trump administration’s federal immigration operations took to the streets of downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon, disrupting traffic in the area. The protest was part of the nationwide “Free America” walkout targeting President Donald Trump and his allies on the one-year anniversary of Trump returning to the presidency.

Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the incident, and Gov. Tim Walz provided few details.
