Doctor Who has a new streaming home, but not quite in the way that fans were likely expecting. AMC+ has acquired the streaming rights to the popular sci-fi series, and most of the show’s “reboot” era—over 150 episodes from 2005 to 2022—will be available on the streamer from June 11.
While Disney+ has been the home of Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th Doctor since late 2023, HBO Max removed seasons 1 through 13 last July, effectively removing the entire 2005 revival era from streaming in the U.S.

A year after leaving HBO Max, Doctor Who has a new stateside streaming home to allow fans to enjoy the "New Who" era of the beloved franchise.
AMC Global Media announced that the 2005-2022 Doctor Who revival seasons will stream exclusively in the U.S. on AMC+ beginning June 11th.
The agreement for 176 episodes of the show has been struck with rights holder BBC Studios and includes series from 2005 until 2022. Episodes will become available on AMC+ from 11 June, with the deal coinciding with the show’s US premiere 20 years ago on BBC America, then jointly owned by BBCS and AMC.
