Celebrity Beyond’s Oct. 26 itinerary will visit the Western Caribbean rather than the Eastern Caribbean, according to the cruise line’s parent company, Royal Caribbean Group. The ship will visit Costa Maya in Mexico, Belize and Roatan, Honduras.

With Hurricane Melissa moving at speeds of 175 miles per hour and preparing to make landfall on the island nation of Jamaica by the afternoon of Oct. 28, governments are warning their citizens to put off travel, while airlines and cruise lines are calling off trips.

Yet another major cruise line is deciding not to stop in a popular Caribbean destination. Celebrity Cruises is skipping stops at the port in Labadee, Haiti, for the rest of 2025 and in 2026 until further notice due to safety reasons, according to Travel + Leisure.
