Berlin has been a home to more than just its many successful German musicians. Legends such as David Bowie and U2 also wrote some of their greatest songs in the former divided city.

I arrived in Berlin the previous Friday with friends, and that night we headed out bar hopping – it’s a perfect way to experience the city’s music culture, with soundtracks to suit all moods.
