New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara suffered an ankle injury in practice on Wednesday, but the veteran reportedly avoided a long-term ailment.

The Saints injury report indicates running back Alvin Kamara was a limited participant for the second day in a row this week as he deals with an ankle injury. Kamara has been dealing with the ankle issue for a couple of weeks. He took six carries for 21 yards and caught two passes for 24 yards in New Orleans’ Week 8 loss to Tampa Bay.

As NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported, Miller's injury is a torn ACL, forcing the running back to miss the rest of the year. He had been turning a corner this season, putting up 193 yards and one touchdown on 43 rushing attempts this season.
