The brother of the late New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has pleaded guilty to threatening to carry out a shooting at the University of Connecticut and to kill three people outside of the state last year.

Officials say D.J. Hernandez, a Bristol man and brother to former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, plead guilty to making interstate threats Tuesday.

Dennis “DJ” Hernandez, brother of the late NFL player Aaron Hernandez, has plead guilty to making threats against the University of Connecticut and Brown University, as well as multiple individuals, last year.

Authorities said Dennis Hernandez also “made multiple Facebook posts” in which he threatened to “harm or kill three individuals."
