The NFC No. 1 seed Seattle Seahawks bullied San Francisco 49ers 41-6 tonight in the NFC divisional round of the NFL playoffs. The Seahawks advanced to the NFC Championship Game, and they will host either the Los Angeles Rams or the Chicago Bears next week.

Those two elevations are notable, not necessarily because of the positions that San Francisco is adding at, but moreso because of where they aren’t adding. Heading into Saturday, the 49ers had two linebackers, Dee Winters and Luke Gifford, questionable with ankle and quad injuries, respectively.

The 49ers have dealt with injuries all season and lost a few more stars ahead of the Divisional Round against Seattle.

Those positions lead the list of offseason repair projects, but there’s plenty more work to be done in the coming months. What follows is a ranking of San Francisco’s position groups, from most needed to the most complete.
